Kirk Dustin

Kirk Dustin has been in the construction business since 1969. After graduating from high school in 1968, he attended Central Piedmont Community College majoring in Business Administration. Since then he has been educated in grading, concrete construction, framing, roofing, and vinyl siding crafts while working for general contractors.

In 1970 Kirk entered the US Army. He went to Vietnam and returned in 1972. He then went back to work for general contractors. Late in 1972 he began his masonry career and became a journeyman bricklayer. In 1976 he entered Randolph Technical Institute on the G.I. Bill to learn furniture building. He then worked for two years for a furniture company learning the finer points of the craft. In 1978 he returned to bricklaying. Kirk finished his bricklaying career in 1989 after working for the North Carolina Bricklayers Union as a fire-brick mason.

In 1990 Kirk entered the roofing and remodeling industry as a subcontractor. In November of 1996 he founded RANGER & ASSOCIATES, INC., which he incorporated in June of 1997.

Kirk is an authorized shingle installer/contractor with GAF/ELK, Owens Corning & CertainTeed--all the major shingle manufacturers. He is also registered with StaFast Roof Systems in their membrane division. RANGER & ASSOCIATES, INC. is a member of the Better Business Bureau, multiple Chambers of Commerce, and The National Roofing Contractors Association.

Kirk is an avid golfer & also enjoys swimming, fishing and gardening.

Sharon Dustin

Sharon Dustin has a BS in Dietetics from Loma Linda University. She completed many of the requirements for a Masters of Business Administration degree at the University of Dayton but was interrupted with a high-risk pregnancy and years of intensive mothering to special needs twin sons.  While she serves as secretary and treasurer for RANGER & ASSOCIATES, INC., she is constantly bringing innovative ideas to the table for business development.
